I don't want to extend the Yaron love too much further, but the ones freshly out look nice here:

Those are some beautiful lesters for sure . . . one of them really reminds me of the brock/dapra burst. The color is dead on and the figure is really similar. One of my fav's as far as vintage LP's go.

For now, I'll have to live my my current lester, which is by no means bad. Here she is:

I haven't tried a gil 59 i would love to but in the uk just imagine the customs import charges on that yiesh i got charged $900 on a 69 superlead!!!!! I have a mate who's a luthier and he built a 58/59 replica and he sold it to me for £800 and it pisses over all les pauls i have played. there are some fantastic luthiers out there who can clone 59s really close and i did some custom pickups for my guitar A2 and A5 mags i did do teh pickups hot but they just work through 60's/70's marshalls they are the hotter end of pafs 10 and 11k i used some sozo caps and you know what i couldn't be happier. are a lot of these NOS parts cracked up to what they appear to be? sorry if my questions seem dumb i am just not sure about some of these nos magnets and have they not totally weakened?

Ex pat here, originally from Portsmouth, Hoves just up the street. My family end up paying import on Christmas presents I send over, so I can well imagine.
