YMI5150? Guitars

Post by YMI5150? » Wed Jan 04, 2012 6:23 pm

I'm starting a little side venture, offering a few guitars a month that are the culmination of my favorite components and tone. check it out!

http://www.ymi5150.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

i sought out the best US suppliers (Musikraft for body and neck, TonePros for bridge, etc.) got to keep the $$ in the USA baby!! And the components all add up to vintage VH if desired (some select electronics around back...).

Cheers and feel free to ask questions, comment.

That's really interesting with the ABR and Stop Tail. Don't think I've seen that before. What led you to that? I'd like to hear that guitar! Nice lookin' job there, good luck with bringin' on some clients. If they sound as nice as they look, well... :thumbsup:

thanks brother.

I love the look and feel of the old Azusa and the tone of the Destroyer so this was an attempt to marry the two.

we'll see how it goes. it's all for fun so a good place to be.

Nice looking guitar. Is the neck angled back at all? I built a guitar like this with a standard neck pocket but had to route the body to get the tail piece low enough.

Looks very nice. I bet it sustains for days.

Funny you say that. The sustain seems fake. It holds a note for what feels like forever.
