Serious issues with completion. Suffice to say, I'm pissed, and the builder knows it. Next step is legal action. He has until the end of February to complete the guitar before I have my lawyer send a letter.

So sad.

They have so much talent, and no time or task management skills.

So sorry, no update. Wish it were otherwise.

Same thing happened to VanHalen5150 with the guy building his burst. That clown took forever. :hide:

Jim, that stinks. It looked like he had it almost done. I did see some real PAFs on ebay recently too. Maybe he needed some cash?

If my PAF's wound up on eBay and are gone, you can bet someone will come up missing right after I buy haz mat suits and a woodchipper.

Yeah, that guy took forever with mine. Apparently with no wife and kids, he finds other interesting stuff to do.

Nope, it isn't. I bought a 53 LP Goldtop, though, and that should be here later this week. Oddly enough, I took it to Jerry Bison @ SIS Repair (Luxxtone Guitars) for the work I had done to it.

I guess you can't blame me for that one, huh? I'll post pics when it's done.

As for the replica...sheesh. I'm just tired of calling and asking now. I was supposed to have it by my birthday at the end of May...well, that was almost two weeks ago now and no guitar.

I hope my fingers can still make an F chord by the time I get it. :palm:

Yep, there are four other clients I referred to him involved with their replica buys and I don't want him shut down before they get their guitars. Obviously there will be no more referrals after those are completed and delivered. 8 years? Puhlease.

8 years!!! That's outrageous.

I manage to build these things in my spare time with an hour or 2 here and there. Your guy takes these on for people and he takes years? WTF?

Here is the newest lefty.

At least by the time you get it, you can definitely say it was made with old growth wood.
