I've got SkyDog. It is an awesome book. Couldn't put it down. One page tells about how Duane used to practice along with his record player and use his foot to pick the needle up and practice a lick then put it back down with his foot and keep playing along with the record.
Good Stuff

That was a ad in GP.from Fender 1973.When I saw EC sitting in that chair on his first solo LP,I had to have a 57 Browie. If you want a Blackie Vee just get a boat neck,a razor blade and some sandpaper, and some calipers.

....and Clapton doing his best Beck imitation with Blackie and Carl Perkins. Looks like Carl got himself a better wig for this one!

You know, I got kind of scared when I read this title....didn't think I left any DNA laying around. :D *cues drummer*

I actually dug Clapton's playing on the Cream DVD...to me it was the best he's played in years. Sure there wasn't that fire from the early days, but it was cool to see those three up there on stage together. I just wondered when he was actually going to use the wah-wah....
Why is it we can remember where all the wires go, but can never find a pick?
