He used to use a tube Randall head and cab a few years back with the Allman Brothers. He is a very "Musical" type player. I like his non slide playing better than his slide work. I've heard him play, almost atonal type Coltrane-esqe type stuff that just "connected" with the vibe of the moment.

Yeah, no doubt Billy! I got mine pretty cheap on ebay because it's still a secret that's not widely known (who was it that shared it here in the forum?). I'm going to mod the electronics in mine a bunch, though. There's a switch that turns off the speaker, which might be OK for solid state, but for tubes... Also, the 4 ohm 10" driver is really weak so it's not loud at all. I want to replace that with a higher power driver and it will speak better.

I paid $10 for a photocopied reprint of the user's manual/schematic, because there's just nothing I could find on the web about it. So I'll scan it and post it here, and then at least it will be online somewhere.
I'm new to the site and just bought a cordovox cl-30. The original footswitch was disconnected, but was included in the sale.I can't seem to find a thing on this, can you help, please?thanks.
