Anyone know the dimensions for a 50w chassis? I am trying to build one from scratch and am tring to be very accurate in regards to measurements.
Thanks

Re: Aluminum chassis question
430mm long x 175mm wide x 65mm tall
Add the mounting flanges on - these are 20mm wide.
Suggest you get the plexipanels sourced before you drill the front and rear holes (different suppliers use diff dimensions)
Top holes will depend on stand up vs laydown PT, two hole U shaped choke vs bell type with 4 holes.
Usually x4 29mm holes for preamp cans and output sockets (although sockets vary) and x3 19mm holes for preamp cans.
If you need more I can take a pic or two when I load up Slashsounds cab pics.

Re: Aluminum chassis question
Any idea on the cutout size for the Metro/Heyboer laydown PT? What about the opening size for the impedence selector?
Thanks in advance

Re: Aluminum chassis question
I will need to measure the tranny hole centres and cut-out but for the selector hole and the bulgin hole I use a 25mm punch, but you may find that if you use a newer Marshall type selector the hole is a little larger ( I try to use the older paxolin ones with the U shaped plug or the window plug one if I have them available).
