No sound channel 2. New build FIXED!!!!!

FIXED!!!!!!!!

The second channel wire going to pin 2 got pinched under the board between the nut and the board. Some of the shielding got scraped back and a small amout of wire was making contact with the standoff. I replaced it and now we're making rockings. Channel 1 is a little to bright for me. Do raise or lower the value of the bright cap to tame this?

Assuming bypass cap, increase value to thinker things up.

Thank you everyone for your help. I settled on a 47pf bright cap on the channel 1 volume pot. Amp sounds great and is very quiet.

Good call, OnTheFritz! I had a similar problem with an NFB wire once. It's always the last thing you suspect.
