New 50w chassis with space for mods

Brian Wallace posted this:

sounds perfect to me - you can out a PPIMV or variable NFB or resonance on the front panel and it will still look stock, or you could be daft enough to try building a trem circuit that works

I'm in for one. Glad I found out about this, I've been looking for a 50 watt chassis with 4 pre amp tubes in a row & wasnt having any luck. & 8 pots, perfect for Jose or Caswell/Levi added tube type builds. Cheers

Question about PTP boards on WIKI

Post by ivan H » Thu Feb 14, 2013 1:40 am

Wow, no more takers on this??? I really thought it would have generated more interest. Maybe another show of hands over on Brians site to let him know who's still interested, see if we can get it happening. Cheers

I believe that Brian needs 10 people to commit to buying. Not sure howm many he got.
Obviously the faster people jump in and the more people commit I guess the more time he would prioritise to the project(hope he does not mind me speaking for him!).
He is busy with lots of things and Marstran/Wallace projects have to wait.

As I see it there was not enough interest so it has gone on the backburner, nice to see Valvestorm has a 100w version of this in store now.

So guys if you want a 4 preamp valve chassis with 4 inputs 8 control holesand and matching front panel I suggest you get over to the Marstran link now. Personally have lots to get on with but if things do not move on in the next few months I will have to sort out an alternative chassis for my Master PA 50 rehousing project!

Hi Niekeel, just by reading the posts over on Marstran forum, I think the count is at 5 with a possible 7 if a couple of people take the extra they've mentioned. One guy dropped out. Brian has asked if the people who have been waiting for could shoot him an email to let him know what they want so he can get an accurate count & maybe get it rolling. If need be I'll take 2, tho 1 would sit unused. Cheers
