"Black Flag" JTM schematic

Post by Flames1950 » Fri Jan 26, 2007 12:16 am

The HOM book also has the eight can Black Flag JTM amp schematic in there -- the single rectifier version. George's standard Heyboer made 1203-80 tranny works with the single rectifier version just fine.

The above schematic is the single rectifier version, here's how to wire the dual rectifier version. All caps are 32uF, and your 1203-80 transformer replica has got to have the two individual secondary B+ windings. Courtesy of Brian Wallace, who helped me quite a bit in figuring these amps out.

Andy, did you already notice, that in this schem the 27K FB resistor is on the wrong place?
It has to be placed 'above' the conjunction with the 10K tail resistor

Larry
The fault almost always is sitting in front of the amp

Ha! Never looked that closely at it I guess.....pretty much knew what I was building anyway so I didn't notice.
