67 100 watt cap board layout

Post by VelvetGeorge » Fri Aug 19, 2005 12:39 am

Here's a typical 67 cap board. Later the 32uf caps became 100uf as well.

Here's a pic of the bottom of a 12 series board I just wired. I thought this would be useful.

Allen saved me an email! :D Thanks George for posting that.
Why is it we can remember where all the wires go, but can never find a pick?

George,

Just so I get this correct on the wiring....the Red wire on the board goes to the HT Fuse, Yellow goes to the PT Common, Black goes to ground somewere under the board?

Thanks,

Allen Jones

Yellow is the PT secondary center tap.

Run your ground over to the filter cap can mounting bolt.

The yellow secondary tap on the Hayboer PT is also a Yellow wire between the 2-blue (heater) and white (bias) wires? According to the diagram it has 0 va/c? Correct? I just don't want to blow this thing up first time I turn it on :)
