Just bought this solder.

Is it ok or should I go with another one/type ?

60/40 rosin-core is fine. But I really prefer 63/37. It is eutectic, meaning it goes from a solid to a liquid and back to a solid at one temperature. Whereas, 60/40 goes from a liquid to a solid over the course of a RANGE of temperatures. This means it takes longer for 60/40 to solidify, which means more of a chance for cold solder joints.

Personally, I'd go with a 63/37 rosin-core solder like the stuff by Kester. It's available at most local electronics supply stores (not Radio Shack) or at The Tube Depot online.
