Plexi 100 kit. Are these caps optional?

Some pics I see them there and other pics they are not there, but the wiring on the board is the same? Thanks!

In the past, as the diode quality still wasn't at the level from today, they've been used to smooth out the diode switching buzz. With the diode quality from today, especially when you're using FRED diodes they meanwhile aren't necessary and no difference is audible with these caps or w/o it. People furthermore put it in sometimes, because it looks more original.

What are the values of the caps? Uf and Voltage?

I would take the 600v as a minimum.

1,000v is better.
