Few Pictures of My COMPLTED Metro 100w Plexi Kit

Post by LJay942 » Thu Jul 08, 2010 7:06 pm

Hello Everyone :)

Just wanted to share a few pictures of my Metro 100w Plexi kit.

For this build I used:

Brian's repro turret board
Star Grounding
Sozo Mustard Vintage Caps
Mullard Re-issue Tubes
Mercury Magnetics Transformers
Metro NOS AB Resistor Kit

And this is what I ended up with:

Congratulations! This one should generate some healthy decibels. I suggest you keep your neighbours informed about the first fire-up! Btw, your MM transformers look awesome in that red coat.

Thanks, I spoke with Patrick when I called up Mercury to ask for a tracking number and he asked me what color I wanted. Pretty cool of them. I hear the red ones have a hotter warmer tone.

Thanks, it's a shame you can't see them when the chassis is in the headbox though.
