Brand new here. I am looking to install this effects loop in a Dr Z Z28.
I need a solo boost for my gigs and I'm looking to use some sort of boost pedal - I currently have an MXR Microamp - as a solo boost in this loop. I do not run the amp into distortion - I use pedals for that - and was wondering if this will work in this amp?
When I use the boost pedal on the front end of the Z28 I find that I seem to be overloading the preamp as there is some overdrive on any clean boost I try to do. So I figured this loop may do what I want - only boost the volume while keeping the same tone. I do understand that if I crank the amp too loud I will overdrive the power tubes, but I do not do that.

But will the loop work on the Z28 amp? That is my question.
