update: with 230v into the 240v primary I get 460-462v at idle (biased 29-32ma). The mains voltage drops to 385-390v when cranking the amp (with guitar, not signal generator). The screens voltage drops even more, but its difficult to measure at the sockets.

These voltages seem safe, historically correct and it sounds good to me. A great PT for a good price
