Hello! :D
Does anyone know how to wire up these Marshall Modern Voltage Selectors :? ???
http://www.metroamp.com/store/product_i ... ucts_id=95
It does not have a "common" in the middle like the impedance switches.

I was going to use this voltage selector with a Heyboer 100w Power Tranny that I just purchased from George.
Primary- orange common/ red 120/ violet 220/ blue 240

If I look at the back pins the numbers read (left to right):
Top row: 4, 3, 2, 1
Bottom Row: 5, 6, 7, 4

With the switch on 120V:
Top row: 4 continuity with 3
Bottom Row: 6 continuity with 7

With the switch on 220V:
Top row: 3 continuity with 2
Bottom Row: 5 continuity with 6

With the switch on 240V:
Top row: 2 continuity with 1
Bottom Row: 7 continuity with 4

A diagram on how to wire this switch would be great!
Does the CD that George provides with his kits contain a diagram?? I didn't see it on the CD.....

Thanks.

Hook it up as follows:

120 Tap(Red) - pin 7
220 Tap(Violet) - pin 3
240 Tap(Blue) - pin 1

Connect pins 2 and 6 together. Then connect pins 2 and 6 to the Power switch. The other side of the power switch goes to the black wire on the mains cord.

The orange wire will to straight to the mains fuse, while the other side of the mains fuse will go to the white wire on the mains cord.

Hope this helps.

Hey flemingmras,
Thanks for the info :D . I'll draw up a diagram and give it shot.
I think I was going crazy trying to figure this thing out.
