Re: S.I.R. 100W SuperLead Schematic pt. II
Hi everybody,
I have been testing different ideas from people of the forum, but apparently my amplifier (JTM60), has a particular tone, although I have modified almost all the preamplifier and part of the power stage, so I have always to make variations to the original idea in order to get an acceptable tone.
I'm not sure if right now need a bit more gain and compression, my point of view seems to vary from day to day, in any case if someone can hear the audios I'd like to know your opinion. They are two recordings of the same amplifier (with 1x12 cab), but with two les paul made by two Peruvian luthieres, the first one is close to a 59 with alnico II pickups and the second has the body similar to a special, all mahogany but with a pau ferro fingerboard, it has the same Alnico II pickups.

What amp are you using? I'm looking to get an AFD mod on a 83 4104 modded. I'd cry tears of joy if it sounds anything like that.

I've started recording on Bandhub - https://bandhub.com/BRMSlash#. I've since done a few minor tweaks to my amp, nothing fancy. I'm now using MKT1813 250V 0.1uF cathode bypasses.

As requested above, here are the Specs from Page 140. It took a bit of effort to get the file sizes under 50kB so they could be hosted on this forum. I apologise to the original authors as I've had to crop, reduce resolution and convert to black and white. The forum will also only allow 3 attachments at a time. So will have to spread over two posts.
EDIT: It seems the board attachment quota is now full. I can't seem to attach the last spec by A-wai. Let me know if you need it and I'll have to host it elsewhere.

I have done some little changes. I think that I will try this amp on a 4x12 cab soon, but for now 1x12 is the only cab I have here

Re: S.I.R. 100W SuperLead Schematic pt. II
Hi, I'm new in the forum.
I'm building a jcm 800 2203 with ceriatone 2014 layout. And I want to add extra 12AX7 and footswitch like S.I.R. (like the ceriatone AFD #35 layout)
Can anybody help me?
I really do not understand much and I need a layout to make the modifications
Thanks

There is a layout for #35 here http://www.ceriatone.com/hot-rodded-plexi-afd-35-100/clau_978 wrote:Hi, I'm new in the forum.

I have this layout, but not how to use it, I do not know much about electronic
I was thinking of trying to agree what he says above in the post (in the pdf)
Something like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdTPyOmkFHE
But anyway, if you have a layout or you can do something for make it easier (add this, remove that)
...I appreciate it

There is no easier way than this. If you're having a hard time understanding a layout which is basically "paint by numbers" you should get some professional to help you or learn.clau_978 wrote:Hello, thanks for answeringRagnarMarGunn wrote:There is a layout for #35 here http://www.ceriatone.com/hot-rodded-plexi-afd-35-100/clau_978 wrote:Hi, I'm new in the forum.
