Kudos to George for offering a kit for the layman like me. My soldering experience includes wiring a couple speakers in my cab, and a couple of pickups ... that's it!!

George's kits are well packed with detailed instructions that make building the kits fun and easy. To top it off, George has to be one of the coolest guys in the biz. Always patient and courtious when aswering my dumb questions.

Also a big thanks to Stan (bmf5150) who bought one of George's boards and encouraged me to do one myself.

I'm still saving for the chassis, transformers etc, so I'm not sure how it really turned out, but in the meantime, I'm going to build a 50 watt board to drop into my 1987x reissue. Can't wait to fire that one up!!

The 1987 should get back its warmth with that board. Hope it goes well.
