Wima TFM vs. Mustard caps?

Post by MiniMajor » Sun Apr 16, 2017 2:24 pm

Hi all!

I've been wondering about the audible differences between Wima TFM's and Mustard's, particularly in a 1969 Super Lead. Do any of you have experience playing both back to back? Or can you point me to clips of Wima-loaded Super Lead's?

Would love to hear everyone's thoughts, opinions and comparisons!

Thanks in advance.

They are different caps. TFMs are metilized film. Tad brighter IMO based on Mallory 150s as modern day equivalent to TFMS. I prefer Mustards/SOZOs

Thanks for sharing RockinRocket! If TFM's are metalized film, would the nearest to mustards' film/foil be TFF's?
