So a guy was selling a JCM 800 output transformer on eBay. In the item info the seller mentions he got it from a repair man and that he thinks it goes to a JCM 800 because he also got a case and it has knobs. So I asked if he could send me a picture of this "case". Long story short I scored a 1981 JCM 800 2204 minus the OT. Fortunately I had one here at the house. Installed the OT AND HOOKED up one ground wire and it came to life. It pays to read the ENTIRE add and to ask questions. It was a SUPER DEAL!!! I have scored many awesome deals by doing so! I actually bought my 69 plexi a good while back by asking the seller if the winning bidder fell thru I'd be interested in it. Well he didn't wanna pay to ship an amp to Australia so she contacted me and said I could buy it! It never hurts to ask!
