Super PA jumpering

Post by Elad E » Fri Jul 07, 2017 5:25 am

Hi all,
I wondered whether the two V1 preamp stages of a Super PA head can be connected with a jumper cable and what would be the result, tone-wise,especially compared to conventionally jumpering ch.1 and 2?

btw, I saw Aerosmith live about a month ago and Joe Perry's Super PAs blew my mind (though he sounds good on whatever he plays - Marshalls, Supros and Voodoos).

Best thing to do with one of those is have a cascaded channel and a shared cathode channel but set up as super bass

interesting idea.
will a 56/250 tone stack work with a cascaded section?

how do you reckon this Super PA setup will differ from your 2-in-1 layout (if a shared/split switch is incorporated)?
