TCC Metalmite in Super Lead?

Post by guitarjesus » Sat Jan 05, 2019 4:18 pm

My 72' Super Lead originally had a TCC .002 (maybe .0022) Metalmite (maybe Metalpack) Visconol X capacitor for one of the coupling caps. Has anyone ever seen these used from Marshall? I know it was original, it sill had the red dye used on the solder joints.

I'm trying to track one down for my rebuild.

Yes I have seen them not infrequently

I think mustard supply varied as you see the yellow square phillips chicklets around then and in 73 weird combinations of caps in parallel or multiple ceramic caps or all 0.1uF mustards.
