Tonal effect of tremolo circuit (1959T; 1987T)

Post by Roe » Fri Mar 15, 2019 8:22 am

I'm interested in how the old marshall tremolo circuit would load down and change the tone of a plexi. Basically, the viper of the normal vol was in series with a .1uf cap and then 93k of resistance to ground. This should load down the preamp and dump some mids to ground or?

I built a Bluesbreaker with a modern tremolo section based on the modern BB reissue, which is not that different to the original. As far of it's tone I'm not sure how to compare.
