Finally have one on the tube!

Y'know these JTM 45's are not so widely perceived as a fantastic Marshall amp, almost unheard of in today's JCM and JMP dominated Marshall world.

But...I personally get all I need from my Metro JTM 45. In fact I would dare say that it gives a Metro 12 Series a run for the money. The amp is so pleasing to the ear (especially with NOS mustards and Brimars). I can get everything from a Peter Stroud mild crunch to balls out Gary Moore with NO pedals or overdrive.

I believe that not enough players understand what a dynamic and charming amp (talkin' about the Metro replica) this really is...but George is makin' it known by doing the vids for YouTube.

Way to go VG!

BTW, is that my newly built '68 12 Series still sitting on the bench behind ya? LOL :D

Was that George in the video? I thought he was some 60 year old grey haired rocker for some reason. I was suprised to see him so young.

It was a very nice sounding demo, my only concern with the JTM45 is that I won't be able to live out my Robin Trower / Jimi Hendrix fantasies with it. I'm afraid it doesn't have enough gain for a strat and I loath peddals. I'd prefer to do the guitar->amp setup, so I'm looking more towards the 50 watter in the other video. How much are those anyway?

George: You have to grow a beard..!

When I first got here I too thought that George was older. He knows his stuff, and seems so professional. Very unlike me at that age...
