thanks, I just listened the link's stream and the kick, hi hat detail are lost... On TV it is easier to hear. Basically, the actor is GOD on interview type ads so the music is way in the background. Easy money though!

no doubt, i am fairly new to the "mastering" process, & i am amazed at what various compression & limiting does to a recording. it seems impossible to get a perfect all around mix, you almost have to cater to the specific application. quite challenging.

Now that you're on Tv. Does this mean you're famous? Congrat's. Cool to know that so many will hear your work.

hehe not famous, but I am a professional as a starter.
The voice had to mixed so loud, that during TV broadcast and or internet streaming, you can't hear the drums! Oh well, at least they like the first bed I wrote and recorded. THey gave me no direction for the music at all. So it ended up being easy money. Initially I was only supposed to do the music, but I heard their recordings of the actors voices and it stunk. So I insisted that the actors be tracked again. When it was done they wanted me to mix it. Despite the volume of the voice over, I still had to do lots of rides on the voice and music for the maximum intelligiblity.
So the rides took a few hours for the 4 ads.
