I'm butchering some EVH

I have had the first two albums for ages and love them bunches.
but I never dared to take on some of these songs.
partly because I felt it was blasphemic (/jk) and partly because I never thought I could pull it off.
until recently. I was very surprised by how much fun that is...
Now I started practising seriously. ...in anticipation of the 12xxx kit that should be shipped tomorrow or wednesday : )))
and because I'm so happy right now, I thought I'd just post my current practice state here.
there's a lot of stuff I still have to work on. The trills for instance... they're killing me.
Anyone got a good excercise for trills?
and of course getting it all blend together smoothly.
played on an R9 Les Paul, tried to somehow simulate the whammy bar stuff
anyways, here ya go:

and keep in mind it's WIP
oh, almost forgot: that's a POD XT... my gear is in the studio
