This was a first take just to show the sound of the amp so MISTAKES WERE MADE just FOCUS ON THE TONE. It is a stock 6505 combo with vintage 30 speakers

http://www.soundclick.com/csvh" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Settings: High Gain input, Lead Pre: 4.5, Low: 6, Middle: 8, High: 6.5, Lead Post: 6, Res: 6, Pres:8.

I am using a 1987 DD-3 for delay, garageband (i know it sucks) for reverb and I think I flipped on the script logo phase 90 at some point. I am playing a les paul studio with burstbucker pro's.

This was recorded with a fastrack and an old AKG D190E mic that is between an inch and a half and two inches away from the grill cloth and an inch and a half to the right of the center of the cone. Hope you enjoy! Please let me know what you think

Thanks

I like the tone very big 80's hair sounding although for ain't talking about love use more delay and atomic punk. To me your tone is very spot on like the record Vintage 30s aren't the best speaker imo i would prob replace them with some of jim's scumback 100 watters that's me but well done.

That sounds really nice, I am struggling to get a usable tone out of my 6505, but I don't keep the mids as high as you have them in the clip, so gotta try that!
