I was messing around looking for new sounds out of some of the gear I had laying around my house. So I picked up my 1971 SG and plugged into a Fender Rumble 15watt bass amp and I was amazed at the sound I got. Check it out let me know what you think.

It seems to be lacking something compared to a Marshall, but it's not bad.

I was surprised that an amp that could easily found on ebay in the 20 dollar range could produce such good sound. I agree that it doesn't compare to the sound of a marshall through 4x12 cab but it shows you can get a great tone at a low price if you think outside of the box a little bit.

yeah definitely, some people assume that you have to have a Wizard amp or something to get great tone....those people even talk bad about Marshall for some reason haha never could figure that one out.
