i just want to record myself playing some rythms and then be able to play back. i like to practice solo stuff
as it plays.
i dont know a darn thing about recording either. whats the easiest way to do it and not waste my bank acct?

A Digitech Jam man or similar looper is excellent for this. You can also import complete backing tracks over USB from your PC. The Jam man is very easy to use and goes for about $200 USD as they are introducing the new version of it. I've seen them for less used.
