What did you mean with "M25"?
M25 I know as a quality of transformer's sheet metal, M6, M19, M25...

Then I can be happy, cuz they're already 29 years "in my chain"
in a 4x12" straight Marshall cab.
And 2-3 times every month anybody is asking me, whether I'd like to sell it to him. Never

I made a few micing changes. It's a 58 on the grill now and a Studio Projects condensor about 3' away. It gives a better representation of what's happening in the room and picks up more of the sizzle that the 57 and 58 miss.
The guitar is my Explorer bone stock. It has a 500T in the bridge. Not my favorite PU, but it is hot.
Amp on 400V setting, everything on 10 except bass on 2.

wuuuuuuuhuuuuuuu!!!!
Finally figured out how to hear the clips. I had to save them listen manually through Quick Time. It's probably the updated Norton security shit.
Anyway...
THAT AMP SOUNDS FUCKING GREAT , GEORGE!!! I think you just (re?)invented the best sounding Marshall EVER!!
That gives me inspiration to get back to spackling my music room becuase once that amp gets here my wife will never see me again!! Well she'll at least be able to HEAR me!!!
George, you HAVE to exhibit at NAMM next year. I'd be glad to volunteer help. The guitar world needs to know about this!

But at what point in that chain of events do you have to start getting Underwriter's Lab approval, etc.? At least now you can kinda fly under the radar........

Man i knew it! That's the one. I had a strong gut feeling for some reason about this amp before i even heard it. George, your going to be a very wealthy individual with that monster. That amp flat out rocks!!! By fay the best sounding Marhshall Plexi clone i've heard in my opinion. I'm ready to advertise the thing on my webpage lol.
I would love to hear it with some 25 watt Greenbacks and a fender type PAF loaded guitar.

Thanks guys, I played around with the mic placement but I still can get the right blend to capture what it sounds like in the room.
I wish you guys could play this thing on the 400V setting. It just squishes under your fingers. Even with my Lep Paul (the T top humbuckers only measure at 7.35k) harmonics are jumping out like crazy.
I'll experiment some more and post more clips.

Happy New Year Guys!!!
