Mick Taylor / Stones

Post by wide slide » Sun Dec 09, 2007 8:51 am

That 1972 take of Bitch has room recording sound that siuts this raw sounding song.

This sounds great!

This would be a good song to kick off a jam/get together Fill and Chief low key raw

and alot of room for different guitars.EC has his thing going they used a tweed Deluxe I believe.

I lived on old Stones. Brown Sugar glam sham began thier NoN Relevance
to this day/ imo Brn Sugar and alot of Post Sfinger stuff is more performance But real great though.

I have a copy of Live'r Than You'll Ever Be, taken from the soundboard at the Oakland '69 show, absolutely the best boot of the Stones from that era,in fact the Stones were kind of forced into putting out Get Your Ya Ya's out in response to all the boot action.
Along with my Hendrix Live at the LA forum double, these are my favorite boots, all the Mick Taylor action one could want there. :D

I've always been partial to "Can't ya hear me knockin?" The timing on that rhytm always blows me away.

I used to play Bitch in an old band - that was a fun one to do. A couple other favorites that we did were All Down the Line and Live With Me.

areeged, BITCH is a classic.

Mick still has his signature sound, its interesting after so many years
you can still hear his old nasally sound that marked the early stuff of his.

i think most of the best rolling stones LP's and (recorded) live acts were done with mick taylor, except beggar's banquet and some girls and maybe black and blue as well that i like despite what many people say.
