From my memory of reading a guitar mag or three on the subject, Paul collected 8 or 9 non-reverse Firebirds and had DiMarzio SDs fitted in the bridge position. When he moved on to his red and yellow BC Rich Bitch guitars, he had the active circuitry bypassed and P90s fitted in the neck position, also unstringing the drone tuners. The white BC Rich Bitch was a 6-string from the start I believe, but don't recollect seeing any info on the pick-ups. He was also not fond of the non-reverse selector switches as I recall. If I find my scrapbooks I'll check if he mentioned what guitars he used on which UFO albums, but IIRC he used the black Les Paul for rhythm and yellow Bitch for lead on TWTW&TI album.

On 'No Place To Run' I remember Paul saying, via a early millenium post online somewhere, that he mainly used the Firebird. He obviously had a LP as a back-up. I'm assuming he used that as well.
