Is this Eddie playing a Gibson SG in 1978?
Of course not, if we look at the bigger picture, we can see it's Brian Robertson with Thin Lizzy. Looks a bit like him though I think.

Just a bit of fun.axeman wrote:I'm sorry, what's your point here?
And it's always nice to see some vintage(?) guitars and amps, don't you think?
Some nice Gibsons and Marshalls being used there.
That was Thin Lizzy on "Top of the Pops" in 1978.
Black Sabbath and Whitesnake were also on that episode.

Loved that cherry sun burst Les Paul deluxe of Scott Gorhams.I guess he doesnt have it anymore. That one and Ace Frehley's tobacco burst deluxe are two of my fav Les Pauls of all time. Both were '73's. Ace's had hb'ers installed at Manny's prior to him buying it there.

He does sorta look like Ed from back then, but you can tell from the hands -- first thing I looked at. Ed's hands are huge! Thanks for posting TL clips. Awesome.
At it awhile, still learnin'
