Making a jtm 45/100 louder???

Is there anything you can do for these things to get them to be a louder beast? I'm gonna try asw kts 60's and 70's in a x pattern in a 1969 marshall cab in place of the 014 m's I have now. but aside from that, does the montery mod make it quieter too? I bought mine pre built off of this board in the classifieds. I love the tone but would just like a bit more volume. Sorry if this is a stupid question and thank you for any help you can give.
the details of this thing are in the classified adds still so you could check there for build specs.

Well, making it brighter will make it appear to be louder. Using higher efficiency speakers will boost the volume but the only real way to make it put out more wattage is to use an OT with a lower primary Z like the Dagnall C1998.

up the b+ voltage and use kt88s. also running a 8ohm load from the 16ohm secondary gives more volume but may damage the ot
