Has anyone tried the BBE Soul Vibe or the Fulltone Deja Vibe MDV-2? The only one I have tried is the Dunlop, it muddied up the guitar tone a lot. It was only usable if I switched to the bridge pu.
I've owned the deja vibe 2 for about 10 years and it's a damn good uni vibe. what I like about it in particular is there is an internal adjustment that you can tweak to completely change the sound of the vibe, and it also a a vintage/modern switch.

But honestly for the price (I think I bought it for $400), by now there are probably other ones that are better for the price.

I found the best clone!

http://www.guitarcenter.com/In-Store-Vi ... 1625907.gc  The only pedal at guitar center for over $2000. If you have that money, get a new amp!

Seriously though, megavibe looks sweet.

Actually Steve Stevens is using a newer vibe on his Billy Idol tour, on the intro of "Blue Highway" Steve plays the opening licks from "Bridge of Sighs"..I can't find the link at the moment.

ha ha ha ! and they say : "With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!"

when you know that recently, a unicord univibe played by buddy miles ( yes, he was a drummer but he played it ) , sold by a friend of him who played with buddy miles and billy cox, was sold for about 800 $ ....... cause the man had to live.

seriously, except a nice original univibe ( some don't sound that good ) , a megavibe is the best. then, some good ones are the mjm 60' vibe, the aquavibe , sweet sound and stuffs .
i had the mini dejavibe, and seriously it really sucks !
i kept my first vibe, a dunlop univibe, a hand signed voodoo vibe by RM, and my megavibe.
the megavibe is worth the money spent on ebay. i know, it's expensive ... but don't waist your money on a cheaper vibe, except for the few other good ones.
for hendrix, nothing beats the megavibe.

I know of various people who have placed themselves on the list for the KR Vibe, waited 15 months, were asked to pay, and are still waiting after 6 months for the pedal to arrive, with no reply to emails. Unless you want to risk being stung in the Megascam, I would suggest buying an alternative from a reliable seller with good customer service history, or buying used. At least you stand a better chance of receiving a pedal, upon payment. Dam shame as the pedal nails that Hendrix sound. There are other pedals that deserve the 'one of the' best title. Heard good soundclips of the Aquavibe, but once again, a 1 year wait list. My MJM 60's Vibe, nails Pink Floyd and Stevie Ray Vaughn sounds I was after. Slightly hollow sounding on the 'Chorus' setting when trying for Hendrix, but hey, at least it's not a 1 trick pony. If my friends receive their vibe's from KR, I'll update the thread with an apology to the man. At this particular point in time it's a undeserved risk, to say the least.

Hope this is allowed, but I recommend the "Vibe-Baby", or "Forum-Vibe" they will get you there. :D
