Ok the PCB are here and i am ready to ship :)

I have sent a PM to everyone who asked me for a PCB.(if i forgot someone send me a PM)

If anybody else want a PCB(2 left)
Send me a PM with your shipping address and email(to know where to ship and that it is your payment)
I will reply with the paypal address and rates.

Once payment is complete i will ship within 1-2 business day.
I will also make a webpage on my website for the complete assembly(including pictures) once i receive my parts in the mail.

I'm not sure I will be able to build and test the fuzz units for my European friends, but I will try to locate the transistors of the proper hfe and install them. I can also send a long some zeners to use to develop the proper DC bias for the input stage. (you have to try a few units to get the offset just right, in the center of the range shown on the schematic) I think the rest should be pretty easy. Xplorer has good access to most parts.

Dave,
I did order some extra part and i will have one fully assembled and biased PCB with NPN AC127 transistor available for around 50$.
OR one fully assembled fuzz also with AC127 into a home etched enclosure for around 100$.(if my transistor stash let me)

Only downside is that i could not source a 1.8u and 2M pot from my supplier, so i ordered 2.2µ and 1M solder lug. Not a big deal for me, but if someone want one of my assembled kit they will have to source these 2 parts if they want exactly like the original(not hard to source).

Another option is that they can send me transistor/component to put in for them ;)

No worries Dave, I am sure we will be able to do the final assembly and test. The transistors are the hardest part to find and select.

I went through my transistor stash.
I have 27 ac128. All under 15 HFe.......
I have about 6-8 AC127 around 70 HFe
1 Ac127 round 138 HFe, slighly leaky
2 Ac127 round 108 HFe, slighly leaky

Am checking online to buy a lot of suitable replacement and make a few matched set.

Edit: i just ordered a lot of 100 RFT GS109C PNP Ge transistor.

Tek, maybe I should just locate the transistors and send them to you, then you could install them in the boards for Xplorer and Shakti, or maybe build the whole thing if they so desire. I just wanted to pay for their boards so they can move on to experimenting with this thing, since Xplorer sent his projects to me to finish many months ago and I still have not found time to get to it. I know I have a stash of NOS 2N591s around here somewhere.

Yes that will be very nice if you can find your transistor stash.
Maby we can make a pcb/transistor exchange deal.

I can install them in the board or build the whole thing for them no problem ;)

I wouldn't mind a fully assembled one - not that much time on my hands to do this stuff, so I would be happy to pay if you are offering to build!

Just reading the last messages, i didn't receive any notifications and i see that the project Evolved a lot !

That's very nice of you Dave, but you don't have to pay for these boards at all ! it was a favor that you proposed, you had no time to work on it but it's ok. Thanks anyway for this.

i'd gladly accept a selection of these 2N591s and zener though, that might help with the board. i'm not sure if i have an enclosure for this project, will check. Maybe the one i sent to you Dave, if i can get it back i would build the project in it ?
We can discuss it later by mail.

About the boards and parts, should i send you some paypal Tek ? we can pm about it, if it's still available, hopefully. Shipping to France. Thank you for your work on this ! it'll bring fun :)

Yes i have 2 PCB i keep for you and shakti.

Contact me via pm for price chart(unassembled or assembled pcb and/or full kit). for now i cannot provide transistor.
Am waiting for the GS109C to come in the mail (*around 3 week) hope they will be over 100 HFe to make some matched sets.

In the meantime, i really hope Dave can find a huge pile of transistor for us :D

here is the 2 only lot of 10x 2N591 i could find off ebay:
