External bias test points and heaters

Post by chubs » Fri Oct 19, 2007 3:21 pm

I am installing external test points on the back panel. Will / can running this alongside the heaters create hum?

Is there a better place? Can this "bias tap" line inuce hum in other things? Shoud I use shielded wire for this?

What I mean is:

Can those test point wires going to the power tubes either induce into or be affected by other wires in the amp?

Should I avoid running them next to certain wires? Example: Heaters.
