Thanks for the nice comments, but I have to be honest. The web pages are automatically created by the program JAlbum. It's a shareware program a guy designed that's very popular. There are different skins to pick from for colors, layouts, etc. So, I can't take all the credit.

Adding an interact comment is an excellent idea, but not feasible for me to do because that would involve not using the JAlbum program and I'm not about to try and build all those web pages by hand. I can, however, add Word files to any of the individual amp folders sighting comments on that particular amp. I could add as many of those as imaginable. So, I invite anyone and everyone to send thier comments on any amp in the archive in any form to my and I'll add it to the amp folder.

Best I can do for right now. Hope this helps.

Oh, and by the way, I am interested in anything you have to share. Send it to:

roger@amparchives.com

Thanks!

Excellent job on your website, you have just made my day. A few years back I picked up a JMP 50W head (circa 1973) and a 2x12 speaker cab of unconfirmed origin. The problem is that some dufus removed all of the tolex, put in a homemade baffle board with two JBL speakers, and then stained it with a paint brush! I've been pulling my hair out for the last year trying to determine if the cab is a real marshall. After looking at your site I'm almost sure that it is. It looks exactly like the 70's 2045 60w 2x12. Now I have something to aim for when I restore it.

Is there anyway of hooking me up with the person who supplied the images so that I can ask him a few questions?

Here is a pick of what I have to work with

Thanks again
Steve

Steve.

Unless it has a name in the folder title, I would not know. Sorry about that. Glad you enjoy the site thought.

Hello all,

I just wanted to give a little update on the website. I have MANY more pictures to add to the site. I am just a little behind and plan to get things caught up over the next few months since winter has arrived. I want to thank everyone that has contributed anything to the site. I promise I will get it uploaded. I see from the number of hits the site has received that it is getting some use. I hope everyone likes it. I have not heard much lately, so I am just curious. In case anyone is wondering, I have not received any complaints or requests for removal of data. I'm hoping that is a good sign.

Enjoy,

Roger

It's in the works right now. I changed webspace providers. The last one trashed my site. I should have it up and running this weekend if all goes well. Thanks for being patient.

Amp Archives is back up and running. I hope everything is the way it was. I know some of the order to the pictures in their respective folders are not the way they were, but I will fix that. Any comments, questions, suggestions or broken links, please let me know. Thanks for being patient with me during this down time.
