Bulgin connection 73 Superbass

Post by dan_tramble » Mon May 23, 2016 1:09 pm

Guys

I have a buddy with a 73 SB amp and I recapped it last month. It works awesome however the bulgin connection is dodgy. I'm in Canada and I want to modify it or repair it. There is very little tension there and the plug falls out. Not very good at all for the amp!

What's the best way for me to tackle this?

Please post opinions to thread.

You can get a new one on eBay, they pop up from time to time. Or you can replace it with an IEC, rotating it sideways to fit the hole.

My '73 is a hardwired line, I would like to install a Bulgin but will probably just replace it with a 3 prong that is probably grounded.
