Wow! Nice. Can I get your thoughts on stainless steel...in terms of tone and anything else you've experienced with it?

I don't think they do anything tonewise that is noticeable to the ear. They last longer than regular frets. On my end they are more expensive and harder to finish.

Nice neck, Divebomb! My VHI is currently needing a new neck :wink: (the previous is now on hold to become a Black Strat neck). My Musikraft Franky neck came with stainless steel frets. I only ordered because, as you said, they last longer and I wouldn't want to refret that thing. Refretting maple fretboards doesn't sound kosher to me.
