Built this check list for folks who want to build a 12xxx series kit:
Parts for 12xxx series chassis kits

The list is roughly in the order that the parts will be needed for the build.

Please let me know if I missed anything!

I placed an order with these guys to help round out my next 12xxx build. Shipping was lightning fast, and the parts were exactly as expected. Very professional . If you guys are concerned with finding the exact parts George use to sell, you found the place right here. I will be ordering more goodies in the very near future. Thanks Valvestorm.

Frequent customer now... Robert has his stuff together and is top notch. Majority of parts for two builds and potentially two more builds to outfit soon.

I'm jumping on that train as well. No reason to search elsewhere.

I have fleshed out this list a bit:
Parts for 12xxx series chassis kits

Also added some choices for bias and other electrolyic caps (BC, Sprague, etc.)

Also I can confirm, that Robert is doing a great job. Two times I ordered from him spare parts shipping to Switzerland. It was done accurate and fast.

Thanks again

I may have one of Georges chassis going spare.

If the original chassis/panels I have just paid for arrive ok there will be one of these new chassis available.

I will be able to supply it with either front, rear or both panels. I have a polarity front panel and stock rear metro panel. Also have a stock looking plexi front that goes to '11' as well.
Buyer can choose.
I do have repro rears both with Marshall stuff on, one Superbass 100 and one Superlead 100, they cost a little more (I only have one of each, the SL is undrilled and the SB has been fitted so has cutouts for mains, selector and bulgin.

I will put add in classifieds. I will list it for what I paid for it plus whatever the panels were when they were last in store plus shipping from the UK.

Hi Neil

Just a question to you. Do you know a source to get new (not NOS) big ceramic disc (47pF, 100pF, 220pF, 470pf, 560pF)? I'm looking for it and can't find them anywhere. I guess many of us amp techs would like to know ;-).

Thanks
Daniel

I mainly use RS and Lemco silver micas myself. I got a few Murata 47pF from Canada al year or so ago.

JHcomp on ebay had some 8kV 250pF which are quite large. Never seen the ones George uses.

Thanks Neil,

for your tips. Will have an eye on ebay and Murata. Yes that would be a good info to know from where George has his big ceramic disc caps. They look great.
