I'm happy to announce that Valvestorm will now be carrying many of the products manufactured by Metroamp. In a collaboration to keep these parts available to DIY'ers, we have stocked and offer the following items:

Once again you can build your own 12 series replica or JTM 45, complete with the original Metroamp chassis, boards and panels.

Transformers are still available direct from Heyboer, as well.

I wish to personally thank Robert for keeping so many of the kit parts available, and especially for taking on my own Metroamp brand parts.

George

Awesome! Robert was great the way he literally (and seamlessly) filled the void when Metro scaled back.
I've had nothing but a positive experience in ordering things via Valvestorm. Fast shipping, great service!
Happy customer here, even happier now! :toast:

I was waiting for people to notice this new development at ValveStorm and I'm glad to see it getting the official announcement! Great work George and Robert, thank you for helping keep this craft alive for many of us and those yet to discover the joys of building! Now if we could only find an old bunker filled with crates of Iskra and RS reserves. :toast:

For my JTM45 I bought my Chassis and Faceplate with Metro, and almost everything else from Valve Storm except transformers. Nice to have it all placed in a way that you can chose comparable parts so easily. My JTM45 is alright with me!

I ordered a 12xxx series chassis from George last week, and did not realize Valvestorm would be carrying them. I hope my order hasn't caused anyone any undue problems.

Great to see the reinforcing brackets back for standup OTs.

Robert and/or George, I'm restoring a '78 2203 using a Metro Dagnall OT. I want to use the reinforcing brackets, do I need to change out or modify the OT bell covers?

Thanks very much.

Perhaps George will chime in as well... the brackets fit nicely around the bell covers all of the Heyboer manufactured OTs I have on hand... including a Metro C-1998 I acquired a a few years back.

I remember one of the first amps I shipped arrived with bent over OT because the shipper dropped it. Thankfully Insurance paid for it, and until brackets came out, I would pack around the OT with that thick brown shipping paper they sell at Target, and ship tubes separate box. Brackets are a must!!

Thanks Mike I appreciate it. I like the look as well as the benefit of increased durability.

I'll order some up this weekend.
