I have that from the CD. But I'm getting confused,68 layout because they differ from 100 watt inst., how thw wires come into the board. I remember you told me to populate the board after getting the heaters done, but the wires that go into the board are confusing me.

This may come in handy
http://img30.imageshack.us/i/35422143019.jpg/
From what I can see vkaxeman changed V1b resistor from 2.7k to 820.
Tone stack cap./resistor from 560pf/33k to 250pf/56k.
And some more. Later
For the wires in to the board I would use SDM.

Yours will be somewhat different. Towards the power board.

What wires are confusing you? The power board?
I used BBs layout from the CD "67-68 Super Lead" for the power board. And SDMs for the main board.

Re: Starting my 12000 series build!
I understand the cap board, using the CD from the BB kit and the pics from the 68cap board. On the Main board is were I'm lost because there isn't any info for the layout of the wires coming into the board, like how the cap board is layed out on the CD. I looked at the 1959 main board and its different. The turrets are in different spots from my main board. I'm lost on this. I need to find a picture of what connects to what underneth the board,Wiring it. Sorry if this is confusing Omn. Thanks for your help so far its much apperciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK. Main board.
"Internal" wiring. It does not have to be underneath the board. I have them wires connecting on top of the board, underneath the caps and resistors. But that is really not important.
If you take this 67-68 layout of BB, it has the wires there. The black ones.

What it does not have is the bias pot. But SDM has that.

Re: Started and working on my first 12000 series build!!
Time to check in. I have been working to get this amp setup.
I have finished the cap board with Sozo royal 67 100 uf for the main and f@t 32 for the screen .
I ordered two .68 mustard caps.
I ordered .0022 mustards
I bought 2 more .022 nos mustards
I bought some .1 mustards
That should finish my board. I need to do more research on EVHs tone. I'm just going to get the amp together stock and start tweaking to get the sound I desire.
Question!!! I need tubes I'm not sure what to get..............Power tubes JJel34? Rockstah likes those but Im not sure. More reading to do. Any comments would be great.......

Search for "tubetramp". The best out there... He will know what you need if you explain what you are after.

Re: Starting my 12000 series build!Finished my build
i HAD THE INPUT WIRED WRONG DAH!
The amp works very but I think it needs to break in because it just doesnt sound alive yet.
I believe Neikeel said to hook it up for awhile to a atten. and a small sp. and send a signal in.
Im going to do that and see how it responses then.
I owe a HUGH THANK YOU TO OMN AND EVERYONE ELSE THAT PUT UP WITH MY BASIS QUESTIONS!!!!!!!!
Respectfully ,
TC
