No, still have a lot left. I tried using 18awg for the heaters...looked terrible, so I tore it all out. Maybe finished in the next few weeks if I get at it.

Yeah time's a killer.

I can't decide what to build next.
Part of me wants to do a 100 watter. Part of me wants a second 50 watter with a few subtle changes to have a backup/stereo rig amp.

Sigh. LOL

Time was the killer for me this summer. Hottest summer on record in Canada. I spent more time outside than I ever had i my life. Golf, kayaking....
Building another 12000, modding my 12002, and the 2204 LarMar I started last year, scratch LesPaul build, Kramer rebuild, Georch Lynch bones guitar build....etc etc ect. I have ADD when I start a project. It's absurd really.

Work 50 hrs/week, play hockey 2 times week.....if I were married...I'd be like most of the other guys here..... :P

Me three, except I get it from the wife, the teenager, the 5 year old AND the boxer. Except the boxer is nearly deaf and she will hang out with me when I crank the amp and sit at my feet like it's nothing.

Nah, her father was a white boxer and they are contributes to deafness. I think we have officially derailed this thread, unless someone gets his soldering iron out.

Blue Yeti . Just got it yesterday. Its a plug in USB mic. Its pretty big though. Has 3 angled mics built in to record for different setups. Works with any software supposidly  . I'm trying it with Audacity and Reaper this weekend. I have SM57's but i just cant get anything to work with Windows 7. Cubebase, Sonar, Protools etc...nothing works. I've seen some pretty cool vids using one and all you do is just download the driver from the website and plug it in to your PC. The Tascam MK2 I bought 2 years ago insnt compatable with Windows 7. Gheez...Im tired of buying shit thats obsolete in 12 months.

Mounted about 5-6 feet of heater wire (22awg) in chuck. Dont over wind. go slow because you are only pre setting the wire anyways. You can do this in sections but I just wanted to show how this can be done without cutting anything. Been thinking about this technique for a while. Drill is set to "screw in" or clockwise. You can jam the other ends into a door fram but my arm reach alone worked. Working around boats a lot as a kid I realized this stuff is just like adding "bends'' to cable and rope.
