Be nice if they detailed the settings and pedals -- he had three pedals on the floor, with the echo being obvious. But it also sounded like he may have been using a boost if the amp wasn't dimed, so it's tough to judge if you're hearing only what the amp can do or if it's effected.

FWIW we played one back to back with my '65 at the Austin Amp Show. Mine edged it a bit due to old glass, but if the GPM 45 had my tubes in it I'd say they would be about dead even.

I smell tubes.

Wow, George, that is Outstanding.

I actually got the goosebumps hearing it for the first time. During the intro, I almost thought I drifted into the misty Amazon, hearing Carlos Santana, or how I always remember hearing him in his early days. And not necessarily his playing (which of course can't be touched), but the "air" around his playing that was such a big part of his signature sound... that's what your GPM seems to put out! It actually translates through the vid. VIBE. Amazing.

Great playing, Stellar representation of this amp!

(edit: ok, I know my post was not technical or unbiased at all, but man, it sounded that G   D!)

The Echo was supplied kindly by a Providence Delay 80's which is the lovely
purple pedal that is sitting on top of the amp... it seems he's running it into the
front of the amp...

it's a great cilp... I'd love to hear that full set up with the bludo as well...
yew!!

but that 45 is glorious!!!
