Need help with board component identification

Post by LP Freak » Tue Dec 15, 2009 10:35 pm

Is there board component id for the MV kit? I found one for the Plexi style kits in the wiki, but I could use some help on the MV kit. A similar diagram would be nice. :)

Thanks, but I'm looking for something like this but identifying the components on a PTP 2203 board instead.

You want to put in the Master Volume, right?

All you have to do is apply that diagram to your board. That master volume is not particular to any one amp; it can be applied to any amp. That said, below is the section of the board you linked that you will be modifying. Mind that the .1 and .022 caps are the same position, just different values. So, on the board all you have to do is remove the 2 220k resistors, and then wire in the 3 wires accordingly.

No, I'm not looking to put a MV in. I didn't think my question was going to be so difficult so I'll try again.

I'm trying to learn my way around the board a little better. So when someone refers to say, a 100K at the plate with a 0.68uf at the cathode or a .022uf coupling cap, I know what part of the board they're refering to. So I was hoping someone had a diagram for the 2204 explaining what the different component on the board are like there is in the wiki for the Plexi style board. I hope that makes sense.

What LP Freak is looking for is board component identification for the 2203 kit, not a PPIMV kit.

To be fair, there's not actually much different on the board, only a little bit on the LHS.
So I like purple, okay!!!!!!

83.7% of all statistics are made up on the spot!

A lot of us would appreciate that sort of diagram.
