Plexi with one wire mod and master vs JCM800

Hey everyone,this is my first post here, there's so much information here!
I was wondering, how different would the sound of a cascaded Plexi compare to a JCM800 type amp? If I'm not wrong, the JCM800 high input is just cascaded into another gain stage? I'm thinking of one of these as my new amp. Thanks!
