Tune in the style of VH

Post by efraser68 » Wed Feb 08, 2012 2:49 pm

I did this project a while back with some friends where we passed files over the Internet. All done in Garage Band, drums were an electronic kit. I played to a click track to match up the drum MP3 afterwards. The amp is my JCM 800 Mod 5, playing "Can't Explain". Hope you guys dig it!

Hey man, thanks for sharing that. I dig it!!

In fact your tune was my dose of inspiration today.

I love it. That JCM sounds great. I play a Shiva 20th, which is basically a pumped up JCM circuit - but you have that upper mid thing really happening.

Really fun. Thanks for sharing.

Hey guys ~ thanks for the kind words, it was a fun project for sure. The bass player and the drummer are the same guys I do the Foreigner Tribute with and they are phenomenal musicians.

Thanks and if I remember correctly, I had the gain on Vol 2 way down at 2 and then boosted with a Boss GE-7 some of the mids and pushed the level up on the pedal for some extra hair.
