Sounds great and huge for that volume. If I were to buy an amp I would get one of those...or maybe a Bray, or maybe a Metro, or ...Heck, why not just all of them???

Great chops!!

That's exactly what my wife said..."that thing sounds HUGE!."

I need to figure out a way to record it that does it justice. That crappy little Kodak camera doesn't accurately convey how good it sounds.

I completely derailed a perfectly good amp building thread.

Hell yes, I heard that hiss and thought, "aaahhhh, even the sweet hiss!"

Leotis, nice Kramer, what's the pup? Alder, basswood, ash?

I love DD tone too, rock on

Stock... I think they're JJ's. I'll have a look...
That hiss is courtesy of the 10 band EQ. It adds noise, but it also adds that elusive VHI bite to the tone that's hard to get without it.

Thanks man! It's a homebrew. The pup is a Motor City 2nd Deg BB. I'm guessing the body is alder, but maybe basswood. The body came from an '87 MIJ Squier that I bought years ago because I loved the neck. The finish was like an 1/8 inch thick polyplastic garbage though, so I stripped it down years ago and stained the bare wood. I sanded that down and repainted it for this project and used a Musikraft neck. I LOVE that guitar!

Ha! I dunno man... he'll come in here when I'm makin' a gawdawful racket and lay down right in front of my cab. Seems to love it, and he's not deaf yet.

I love boxers. Never had one but my next dog will be one. Have a Basenji and an English Bulldog now. Polar opposites but best of friends. Neither dare to hang out in front of the cab though.
Cheers to the ears.

My wife has a Havanese that loves it too... both of them have no fear of roaring guitar amps.
