The Bee is incredible. I still can't get over the amazing job you did on replicating the headstock!

I have a Frankenstrat question for those in the know. Did Eddie just screw the Floyd Rose directly into the body or were there some kind of brass inserts that the bridge screwed into for strength reasons. Also those that have replica Franks , how is their bridge screwed in. Are any screwed right into the body? Thanks in advance.

Thank you sir I appreciate the reply. Let me add this... is it preferable to have the Floyd screwed directly into the body? The reason I ask is I know someone selling a replica Frank and the Floyd is screwed right into the wood and I wasnt sure if that was how it was suppose to be.

What do you guys think of this Franky? Anyone know anything about Judah Customs?? Would you say too expensive for what it is?? Looks like a good player. Not sure how accurate all the parts are though. If you watch the video on their eBay page they talk a pretty big talk about the quality and they seem like a pretty legit seller. Just wanted some opinions from you people. Thanks.

In my opinion, that is waaay too expensive. It is an EVH striped series...a cheap guitar. You can build or have a really knowledgeable replica builder make you a very accurate replica with the best parts for around a thousand dollars. That would be with a top quality KNE or Musikraft replica Northern Ash body with the most correct routs and maple replica neck that is aged and made cosmetically close to any one of the many necks that were on the Frankenstein, an original early 80s German made Floyd Rose, correct reflectors, accurate hacked pickguard and toggle switch wire bundle for the middle pick-up cavity, etc.

If you really want a great replica, PM me and I can give you info on a guy I used for one of my replicas...

couple more
my buddy got me all the case candy
i think those are way to expensive as it is only a art series that you can get for 700 bucks so there charging almost 1200 to relic it and cut the pup routes out that you can print off line and do yourself with a router

Beautiful work topsportsmanta1. :toast: I just need to find the right person who builds these to help me out because I would rather leave the building part to the experts.
